How to set Cookie Handling for Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer v5.x

To enable cookies:

  1. Select 'Tools' from your main toolbar at the top of the browser
  2. Select 'Internet Options'3) Select 'Security' tab at the top in the window that opens and choose 'Custom Level' at the bottom
  3. Scroll down to the Cookies section and under 'Cookies', enable both 'stored' and 'per session'
  4. Click 'OK'

Internet Explorer v6.x:

To enable cookies:

  1. Select 'Tools' from your main toolbar at the top of the browser
  2. Select 'Internet Options'
  3. Select 'Privacy' tab at the top in the window that opens and click 'Advanced Options' button under 'Settings'
  4. Tick the 'Override automatic cookie handling' tickbox
  5. Enable the 'First Party' cookies by choosing 'Accept' or 'Prompt'
  6. Enable the 'Third Party' cookies by choosing 'Accept' or 'Prompt'
  7. Enable 'Always allow session cookies'
