This course shows how to manage files, folders, and file systems. In addition, it describes the process and capabilities of managing resources shared on a network.
Objectives:
After completing this course, students will be able to:
- Configure and manage compression and encryption for files and folders
- Configure file systems using FAT, FAT32, or NTFS
- Convert from one file system to another
- Control access to files and folders by using NTFS permissions
- Explain network printing under Windows XP
- Set up and manage a print server with Windows XP
